Wunderbaum

I am disappointed. I had hoped for more from this fragrance, which sounds so seductive to me in its notes. But upon spraying, I am hit by an artificial Tiare flower that nearly makes me fall over in shock. I haven't smelled anything like this since I outgrew the teen fragrances of the 80s, and even back then I didn't like it. In this case, thank God, it doesn't last long, but retreats into the background as a synthetically sweet undertone from which the synthetic vanilla unfolds. Immediately, the image of those cardboard air fresheners that can be hung in cars comes to mind. Not that I've ever had one hanging in my car, but I once worked at a gas station where they were available.
In the further course of the fragrance, nothing happens.
Almond, patchouli, tonka bean, sandalwood do not make an appearance, do not say hello, are simply not there. I suspect they forgot to invite them to the party and then didn't bother to correct the guest list.
What a shame, and I assert that there are more complex vanilla fragrances available for less money.

I'm currently testing this scent, which has been sitting on my wishlist forever, and I'm trying to figure out what it reminds me of. Then I read your comment and it clicks. ;-)) Wonder Tree... absolutely! And the fragrance notes sounded SO tempting...

Sickly sweet artificial vanilla, I initially didn’t know what it reminded me of, but you hit the nail on the head.
The good old air fresheners for the car.

Wunderbaum - in more ways than one, because I'm amazed by... the top note is so intense and powerful that it shakes me. Only after about half an hour does it become more bearable, but it still has that unpleasant greasiness.

Well, your R. would give you a hard time if you hung one of those air fresheners in his car ;)

Just from the scent pyramid, I could have fallen for it. Thanks for the warning! But the bottle is pretty... I'm reading about what it’s supposed to cost. No way, that’s ugly!
