The Treasure in a Velvet Cloak
Actually, this was a pity purchase. The crumpled red box on the bottom shelf at El Corte Ingles in Tenerife, the price crossed out three times and still no one wanted it, so I took pity.
I had never heard of the brand, but Spanish perfumes are exactly my thing, so it was allowed to come along on the trip.
Back home, I took out the box and opened the crumpled packaging, and what emerged was a beautiful red velvet pouch with a golden cord, very elegant. So I unpacked further, and the bottle is really different, a slender, ribbed bottle with a fabric label, embroidered lettering, and a golden cap, indeed Agua Real. The bottle here in the picture looks completely different!
Upon the first spray, I thought "Oh, another Cologne," but only for a moment, as the citrus notes quickly disappeared, and then it begins!
First, the spicy notes take the lead, but in the background, the flowers are already lurking.
Leading the way is the honeysuckle, which I can also smell, while the rest creates a voluminous blend of herbs and flowers that is very well balanced and never too much, but instead spreads a wonderful, deep aroma.
In the dry down, the scent becomes warm and slightly smoky, and the longevity is also decent at about 6 hours.
All in all, it is an elegant, multifaceted fragrance that works well in summer and is simply something different, and I am glad that I secured this gem.
