The Narrow Streets of Seville
I am LenaMarie’s friend and bought the fragrance during a vacation in Seville. To me, it is soft-floral with an orange scent. It reminds me of the warm city, of the flowers worn as adornments in the hair, and of the orange trees that grow everywhere in the city. When I wear it, it feels like the sun is shining around me and it’s 27°C. For me, it is a piece of Seville and memories in a bottle. The fragrance itself is gentle and doesn’t change much on my skin. The orange note slowly fades over time.
LenaMarie owns "Fleurs d'oranger | Serge Lutens," which also contains orange blossom. Yesterday, we both wore the fragrances side by side. The Serge Lutens is clearly more of a perfumer's artwork, more complex and deeper. But it is also heavier and, for me, less of a tribute to something. I enjoy Agua de Sevilla for its softness and lower intensity. It envelops me in warm weather, lets the sun shine on me, and brings me peace and contentment.
