A somewhat extreme progression
Sunday outing, sunshine, and of course preferably to a place where the shops are open. Especially to a place where there are also perfumes. The selection is not large, Aigner and Chopard, but okay, better than nothing at all. The better half dropped off at the café bar and off I went. Sniffing tour. I had already sniffed the Chopard last time, now it was the Aigner's turn. With this one, I thought, yes, not bad, not bad at all, good. The price was also not higher than that of a good lunch. So why not. Proud of the new scent, into the bag with it and surprise the better half.
In the car then the big moment. One spray to the left, one spray to the right and with expectant eyes towards the better half. Who unfortunately at that moment made a face and exclaimed loudly: My God, what stinks so much? Man, it’s like someone is hitting me with a toilet bowl stone.
I whispered, it will get really nice, just wait. After half an hour, a timid question from me: And? It's still nice, right?
It’s okay, you have much better ones. What’s it called? Ladies Day. My husband dryly replied: The name is well chosen, better wear it only in the company of ladies. Tsss, these men:(.
I like it.
Okay, the beginning is already strong and citrusy, but as it progresses, it becomes softer and more floral. The flowers are also beautifully harmonious, none push themselves to the forefront, even with a hint of gourmand. After the strong start, it also becomes quite subtle, making it suitable for work.
After about three hours, my husband said: Now I like it much better. Of course, there was almost nothing left to smell. The longevity is average. You can still smell it up close, but just very softly. But at that price, you can still enjoy a beautiful scent. Especially at higher temperatures, it would definitely unfold even more beautifully.
In contrast to the previous comment, I find the progression rather extreme. From strongly citrusy fresh to floral-gourmand and rather powdery-cuddly. Testing it is definitely recommended.
