Fougere at the crossroads of shallow fruity freshness. The structure is solid green and woody. Wrapped in synthetic dilution. Floral and sweet. *

I think I’ll wear it today since the weather is pretty bad anyway. It’s a fougère with various overly sweet notes, that’s how you can categorize it. At least it’s a plus that it offers a counterbalance to the synthetic fresh spray nonsense at Rossmann!

@Stulle It really works best in gloomy weather! After all, it stands out for a trend that's making a comeback today.

Anyone who knows the really good Aigner from back in the day doesn't need this one.

I didn't find the private little number to be more than mediocre either.

An interesting insight into the history of fragrance, even if it's probably not a must-have scent.

It reminds me of that one, but I didn't rate it here due to a lack of detailed knowledge. I do remember thinking it was just average too.

Thank you so much, Hapax!
This fragrance can only be understood in its historical context.
In the early 1990s, a new and "lighter" direction emerged with unrestrained synthetics.
Here, a classic fougère is launched with sweet floral and watery fruity notes.
The concept worked back then because it was new.
Today, it's only good for nostalgic moments.
Or just to make a statement.

In the context of time, it's definitely interesting to consider.
However, the Private Number and I didn't become friends. There was something very intriguing about him, but the synthetic nature, the floral notes, and ultimately the entire scent just couldn't win me over.
