Where is it supposed to be synthetic? I really don't get it. Especially since so many new fragrances today smell extremely synthetic, and you notice it right away in a very annoying way. But Aigner?
Private Number is a brilliant, almost unique combination of herbaceousness, fresh spiciness, floral notes, fruitiness, wood, and moss. The scent might seem unusual to some today, but it's not synthetic. In my opinion, it's an absolutely natural and high-quality fragrance, a timeless classic. Very refined, elegant, and clean. It's incredible that something like this is being sold for cheap in drugstores today.
Apparently, it was recently discontinued, unfortunately. Aigner is cutting its last remaining truly good fragrances from the 70s and 90s (No2, Private Number, Statement). All that's left are the newer, uninteresting 0815 scents. Aigner, a brand that seems to be dying, once a great perfume house. That's why I stocked up on Private Number while it was still available in the current Rossmann offer.
