Rose and wood.... as the name suggests
Ajmal Rose Wood is a fairly simple composition. Pink pepper and rose are very prominent for the first 2 hours, with a bit pungent and well balanced woody base. The spiciness is dry and almost sweet.
Then the rose steps back and musk appears softly giving a sparkling body to the fragrance. The woods and musk create a sort of leathery atmosphere. I must say this is pretty linear from this point on.
Nothing ground breaking, but very well done. Quality ingredients, great presentation and excellent longevity. 12 hours plus on my skin.
I think it works any time of the year and on any ocassion. However, it's for mature noses and for rose lovers. I don't think many people will appreciate this perfume.
Totally unisex.

PS: I wouldn't say this is an oud rose combo. There's no enough oud in my opinion.
