What on earth has Ajmal created here? ? ?
The One starts off quite animalistic, especially for those who are not familiar with Oud or have never smelled it before. This can be quite demanding, even for those around you! However, this extreme opening doesn't last too long (about 15 minutes).
Those who "survive" this opening will be rewarded with an absolutely extraordinary Fougere. Just so you don't misunderstand me, I personally love this strong animalistic Oud note at the start. The Oud is of very high quality (Ajmal has its own plantation for the sustainable cultivation of excellent Oud).
From here, the beautiful Fougere emerges, built very harmoniously with lavender, citrus notes, sage, and patchouli. No note is truly bothersome here; they all complement each other excellently.
The scent progression is quite linear, if we set aside the Oud opening. However, it is precisely this extraordinary combination that fascinates me.
The Amir One is a fragrance that can be worn all year round. In summer, it is not too heavy, and in winter, it is not too fresh. GREAT scent and a major hit!
Sillage and longevity are really great for me and easily last a whole day in the office. Yes, you heard right, I even wear this fragrance in the office: one should be a bit cautious with the dosage, otherwise it can annoy colleagues and clients.
