Very Christmasy

A delicate composition that opens with a distinctly festive, Christmas-like character. Tart, fresh winter berries rest on a subtle, softly vanilla-sweet base, creating a cozy winter atmosphere that evokes both a walk through a snow-covered landscape and quiet moments spent in an armchair by the fireplace, wrapped in warmth with an aromatic infusion in hand. It’s snowing outside and we decide to...

… go to the Christmas market in Salzburg. When we arrive, it’s already dark and the market is around the cathedral. The snowflakes fall softly. On the edge, there’s a children’s choir singing Holy Night, Silent Night. Some nearby men join in until it turns out they are a male choir. I hold my hot mulled wine in my hand and dreamily listen and watch the scene unfold. I feel transported back to my childhood.

With the application of this fragrance, you get warm vanilla with berries and floral notes in your nose. A hint of citrusy fruit mixes in, and I perceive a green apple, even though this is not listed in the fragrance pyramid. Christmas sends its regards.

The longevity and sillage are average.

Here we have a fragrance from the house of Yves Rocher, a wonderful Christmas scent. It is marketed as a women’s fragrance, but I personally believe that this scent is unisex. It can be worn by both men and women alike. This perfume can be worn from the age of 16, but I could imagine that the very young might not be as enthusiastic about it, and it is open to all ages above that. It can be worn both during the day and in the evening for any occasion.

Those who enjoy a berry floral vanilla scent with citrusy fruity green apples will find themselves well catered for here, and at a good price too.
