Is it bad because of that? No, but this piercing lemon overwhelms the rest for several hours. And I would prefer not to smell acceptable only after several hours. At least after two hours, some noticeable smoke comes through. For me, it's too uneven and thus overrated.
If you like it particularly smoky, as I can tell from your comment, and you haven't tried CDNIM yet... you should definitely give it a chance. In my opinion, it also has a longer lasting power. At first, it’s very synthetic and 'harsh', but after 15-20 minutes, it’s just amazing... just like with L'Aventure, after about 2 hours, the lemon pulls back and leaves its shell behind... then it gets even smokier... leathery, and a little bit of spice is noticeable too. :)
I accept your opinion, but I find the criticism exaggerated. I specifically mean the “(...) nasty bathroom cleaner note” and the “(...) unbearable.” On the contrary, I’ve received many positive compliments on it so far. I even consider it the best clone - also because of its longevity and freshness. There are definitely parallels to Aventus. The pineapple was just swapped for lemon, so I see it as distinct. It doesn't annoy me.
