Very good Tuscan Leather alternative and better than La Yuqawam!
Leather Oudh by Al Haramain has been on my radar for a while as an affordable Tuscan Leather alternative, but it was not available in Europe for a long time.
Now I have it and I'm pleased that it performs so well for just 35 €/100ml!
I own Tuscan Leather as well as La Yuqawam by Rasasi, which is described by many as one of the best Tuscan Leather clones.
To keep it short: Al Haramain does it better and, above all, more wearable.
Leather Oudh is better balanced to my nose and does not have the cloying fruity sweetness of La Yuqawam.
The raspberry is indeed present at the start, but it does not perform as strongly and fruitily, allowing the other ingredients, especially the floral and woody nuances, to unfold.
The leather note remains controlled and becomes slightly smoky over time.
Compared to Tuscan Leather, Leather Oudh is more subdued, yet still quite noticeable in the first 4 hours.
Conclusion: Super rounded scent, top alternative to Tuscan Leather, at a wallet-friendly price!
Tuscan Leather fans can buy this blindly!
