I don't know yet...

What this scent is trying to tell me.
It starts with a rather violently synthetic salty raspberry. Fortunately this is softened by spices and some smoke. The first shock seems to be overcomeable.
The opening strangely reminds me very much of the salty mandarin of Aqva Amara. Sounds funny to you, but it is to me. Somehow fruity, metallic and very salty. After the opening the fragrance becomes more pleasing.
But strangely enough, it smells like rose to me in the air. This spicy raspberry has something of a noble rose.
But then I wonder what the scent wants or who should wear it.
In my opinion it is too spicy for the ladies, and too pompously rosy for gentlemen. So somehow the ultimate unisex scent and at the same time not on both sides.
Funny...
I carried him to an evening Christmas market visit with friends and felt funny about it. I find it good at times and unsuitable for me at other times.
You will surely notice that it is very difficult for me to make a rating.
I would classify the durability of the EDP as very unhealthy. After 2 days and two showers still smelling slightly on the back of the hand. The Sillage is strong in the first 2-3 hours, then very moderate.

After I fell for the Ombre Leather I also wanted to test the alternatives of Tuscan Leather. For me, la yuqawam smells much more sweet and not as pungent as Leather Oudh, but you're right, this kind of scent is difficult for normal mortals to wear and especially when you feel insecure.

That's exactly how Leather Oudh left me, too. Somehow fascinating, sometimes unpleasant. Then I sold it.

You're pretty much describing my feelings about the scent...
Alone I don't like wearing it very much, but I have noticed that when I lay it down with Cuir Iris, his "quirks" somehow fall away... I can't describe it any other way :-)
