"Going in the direction of Tobacco Vanille"....(?)
I bought the fragrance based on the statement mentioned in the subject line, but unfortunately, this is NOT the case at all. I have a TV decant here and I can't detect any similarities whatsoever. TV smells slightly of cherry at first and then becomes "warm vanilla." The Urbanist Silver does not remind me of Toffifee or anything warm, but rather smells a bit "bluntly synthetic, slightly dark, slightly smoky." You can sense hazelnut, but it unfortunately doesn't come across as pleasantly as one would imagine the scent of hazelnuts to be. I can clearly remember having smelled a hazelnut brandy, which was very pleasantly soft-warm-creamy. This does not come across here unfortunately.
Regardless of this: I simultaneously ordered the Etoiles Silver from Al Haramain, which indeed goes in the direction of Green Irish Tweed and Cool Water. The memory of CW is also clearly coming through after now 5 hours of wearing. S/H for both! After now 5 hours, however, is quite decent.
Your description is all well and good... it’s quite accurate, but instead of the word "synthetic," I would rather use the word "silver," maybe with a slight metallic touch, right?
