First of all, I am very happy to be the first to review this brilliant fragrance. I am generally a fan of scents from the Orient, as they usually offer a lot of quality for relatively little money. This also applies to the Signature Blue by Al Haramain, but more on that later.
First, let's talk about the bottle. Or better yet, I'll start with the packaging. AMAZING! Absolutely amazing. No joke. A book-cover-like packaging made of soft solid cardboard (lined inside with soft felt), which you can actually open like a book. Once opened, the beautiful bottle inside (not standing) comes into view. The design is of course reminiscent of Dior Homme, but is done in blue with transparent liquid. When you hold the flanker in your hand, you can feel the high quality. Sensational. This also applies to the packaging. Everything comes across as high-quality. If you didn't know the price of the product, you could easily estimate it at 150€, easily. Externally, I am absolutely thrilled.
Does my enthusiasm hold up against the inner values of Signature Blue? YES, YES, and once again, YES! The first spray reveals a citrus freshness reminiscent of Bonheur, with the bitter orange providing a very positive, slightly bitter influence. The geranium almost merges with the vetiver in the base to create a wonderful spicy-woody composition, always accompanied by the initial citrus freshness. This accord is not only fresh but also clean, elegant, and sexy, rivaling the BdC (EDT and EDP) in every way. Although, the sillage is slightly better with the EDP of Chanel. But the mere fact that Al Haramain offers an incredibly great BdC clone for just about 20€ makes you overlook the sillage.
Conclusion: a fragrance that is very high quality both inside and out, which is almost on par with the BdC. Definitely worth trying. Especially for the price, you can't go wrong.
Edit: the fragrance is labeled as unisex. I definitely think it suits men. I wouldn't want to smell it on women. That's my opinion.
