When I saw this beautiful bottle, I immediately thought: You have to have it. I had no idea what to expect. So it was a complete blind buy. The bottle is really high-quality and heavy. The cap is made of plastic, but it is magnetic. The decorations and patterns are stunning. It really stands out in the collection. Now to the scent:
Somehow, every time I smell the "25th Anniversary | Al-Jazeera / الجزيرة," I get a déjà vu, which is actually incomprehensible to me. Maybe it just captivates me too much and makes me feel like we’ve known each other forever. Maybe it’s just that great. I can confirm the barn note, which honestly doesn’t bother me, as it fades quite quickly. But it is still always noticeable. I would spray this scent for going out, as well as for special events and more during the darker season.
It starts fruity, like a cocktail of various tropical fruits: strawberry, kiwi, lemon - sweet, sour, fresh, but everything is mixed together so that no note stands out particularly. Classy. Then I can smell the rose and the iris; unfortunately, I’m not familiar with other notes in the heart. They give the scent an elegant feel. That’s why it’s also suitable for special occasions. On my skin, it takes on a creamy tone, which I didn’t notice as much on the test strip. Maybe it can indeed be worn without a special occasion. I can’t stop smelling the "25th Anniversary | Al-Jazeera / الجزيرة."
The scent gradually becomes darker, which makes it even more special. The oud comes from the background and pushes the previously described heart notes into the background, but not so much that you can’t smell them anymore. The top note has disappeared. Maybe a bit of fruit and tea still. Sometimes a slightly smoky note comes through, which in no way bothers me. It also becomes leathery. Since I’m not a big fan of smoky scents, except for the "Oud Maracujá | Maison Crivelli," the creators of "25th Anniversary | Al-Jazeera / الجزيرة" have really succeeded in creating a harmonious perfume.
I mean, the scent already smells great, but over time it just gets even better. It may not be worth a blind buy for everyone, but I personally really like the scent a lot.
