A Mirage?!

... how I discovered a little treasure...

Since I suggested this perfume myself here at Parfumo, I feel compelled to write a few lines about this oriental scent...

The other day, while walking through the city, I stumbled upon a small shop that sells all sorts of oriental clothing, jewelry, and books, where I found a selection of various small perfume oil bottles that immediately caught my attention! After a quick sniffing round, I knew I had to take two of the bottles home for further testing...
One of them was Golden by Al Rehab.
Once home, I immediately continued to sniff... What was it that had captivated me in that store like a mirage?

I had used some of these concentrated perfume oils before, which are always associated with hippies, but they were all scents that referred to a single specific fragrance note.
This perfume, however, was different. It seemed much more complex, deeper, and darker to me.
It starts off in a floral fresh way that I can hardly describe. It smells fresh but also very, very sweet right from the start. You have to be extremely careful with the dosage; otherwise, this scent can overwhelm you. After a while, the fragrance develops further into a darker direction where I repeatedly perceive the finest woods, amber, and vanilla. For me, there isn't really a proper fragrance pyramid. The scent simply transforms from its fresh aspect into a darker one.
It smells to me like 1001 Nights, mysterious and profound.
For me, it's a true gem that I discovered and initially thought was just an illusion...

The longevity is, as expected for such a concentrated perfume oil, exceptionally good. Easily 9-10 hours are possible for me, without overwhelming those around me if you know how to dose it.
And the feedback is extremely positive; I've often been asked what wonderful scent I'm wearing, and everyone was surprised that it's a really inexpensive, unconventional perfume oil.

As for the bottle, it has a small roll-on mechanism, which allows for the best and most targeted application and dosing.

...Sometimes it really makes sense to get to the bottom of a mirage and explore it...

I stumbled upon a nearly full bottle of the EdP by chance, and I'm thrilled!

Recently in my possession and a beautiful all-rounder! Totally harmonious, spicy, slightly sweet, and softly woody scent. 3 ml for 2.60 euros - a joke for such a delightful fragrance. It fits in every bag and gets lots of compliments for it.
