A rose is a rose is a rose

Today I had the opportunity to visit one of the branches of the Albrecht perfumery in Frankfurt.
They have the line Les Roses de Francfort, which you can purchase online or on-site. As far as I know, there are no other options.

I took the opportunity and had many things shown to me that are otherwise hardly accessible. I wanted to take a fragrance from this line with me since I was already there.

Among other things, I tested Bettina von Arnim. Strangely, I found the top note quite odd, even though I like citrus. I did not perceive it as citrus at all.
After a while, the top note completely disappeared and I only sensed a sweet rose. This lingered for many hours; the longevity is really good.
If you like sweet rose, this is just right. If you don't, it will probably be very unpleasant.
But you definitely have something that not everyone has.

It might be too linear and rose-heavy for me.
But Albrecht is definitely an institution.

I'm completely out on this one...
Not my scent profile.

It definitely wouldn't be my scent, but the bottle is really nice.
