Daisy in New York
Recently, I found 4 different bottles of 100 ml each for 6.99 euros in the promotional basket of my local discount store.
Until now, I only knew Anna Biondi from Aldi.
I bought New York, London, and the Rio that is not listed here. Paris smelled too floral for me.
The bottle fits quite well in the hand due to its square shape,
the spray head dispenses a decent amount.
Overall, the bottle and the design of the spray head do not give a very cheap impression.
The spray head is made of metal and has a rather solid metal cap.
Additionally, the pure spray head, like in more expensive fragrances, has a kind of metal sleeve, so you don’t see the stamped ring. I always find that quite nice.
The scent immediately reminds me of Daisy Eau so Fresh by Marc Jacobs. Fruity, just a tiny hint of flowers, a bit aquatic, nice.
At the very beginning, there’s still a slight herbal note, but that dissipates quickly, and the scent becomes as nice and sweet as Daisy Eau so Fresh.
For anyone who might not want to spend too much money or wants to mist their home, their closet, etc....perfect. Go for it.
It's just a shame that these fragrances were only available as a promotion and are not found in the regular Aldi Nord range.
