Vetiver Moss Alexander McQueen 2018
1
Unexpected Orris
This a PLUSH iris and oakmoss. Has a velvet texture that is completely unexpected from something named "Vetiver moss." I half-expected it to be dry and grassy, but I honestly barely smell any vetiver here. Also, this does not read emerald green to me, rather, deep purple. Vetiver Moss is 100% an iris fragrance, from the indigo petals to the soil-covered bulbs. It doesn't go full violet face-powder, though, because of the slighty bristly, peppery tree moss. A divine mix of earthiness and elegance -- bohemian and well-bred. Again, it is purple velvet all the way. Wish that it had stonger projection, but I get why it's restrained. I did get a backup, just so I can spray with abandon and sink into this glorious, pillowy cloud!
