Spices and Woods

Scent and notes:
It reminds me definitely an Arabian forest. The most perceivable notes are the cedarwood, cloves, pink pepper, iris (''melted plastic'' and ''playing dough'' kind of iris and not the sweet one) and oakmoss. The apple note exists in the opening remarkably, however lemon and bergamot are hardly perceivable in the opening and middle. It is an explosion of spices following with a complete woody dry down.

Performance:
Longevity is quite good around 6-8 hours, however the sillage and projection are below average. Good longevity on clothes and on skin you have to spray at least 8 sprays. After a few testing experiments i found that if you double the sprays at the same pulse points the fragrance performs better (rather than sprays to more points in the body). I discovered also that spraying on top of my wrist vs below gives better longevity. Layered the fragrance with molecule one (1-1 sprays, molecule 01 first, after 10 minutes AF) slightly improves the diffusion hence the sillage and projection.

Bottle and Sprayer:
Simple design of bottle (definitely a clone house bottle) and decent sprayer.
2 sprays of that perfume = 1 tom ford spray.

Time to wear:
Fall, Spring, day, casual, work, Everyday signature scent, maybe at the noon-evening but not at night anf formal occasions.

Comparison with Creed Spice and Wood:
As a clone of Creed Spice and Wood I would say that is 85% close to the original. I think it lacks the existence of citrus notes in the opening (lemon and bergamot) that add to the Creed Spice and Wood the freshness which is definitely a creed vibe. Also Creed Spice and Wood maintain that citrusy vibe in the middle and this is awesome.

In terms of performance I would say that is near Spice and Wood, however it lacks a little projection on my skin. The longevity seems the same as the original. On my clothes, the scent fades away quite quickly comparing with Spice and Wood which remains on clothes quite enough despite its performance concerns.

Considering the price, I would say it is a very value for money purchase. Common people will not distinguish the difference between this and Spice and Wood, however more experienced frag heads will perceive the absence of the citrus notes in the opening and middle and also the quality of ingredients that Creed use.

Overall:
Scent = 8
Longevity = 7
Sillage = 6
Bottle = 5
