Irish Spring in a Bottle

Irish Spring soap is one of my favorite classically masculine smelling soaps. This caused me to go on a journey for a fragrance that could match it. My journey took me to Sung Homme and this is honestly the closest I’ve gotten to the smell of Irish Spring. Sung Homme is a classic barbershop fougere fragrance through and through with its green and spicy notes. It’s pretty synthetic, but at the price you can obtain it for, it’s to be expected. Some will say it’s dated, but honestly I don’t think smelling like soap is dated. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea but clean soapiness never comes off as dated in my opinion.

Sung Homme is an absolute monster when it comes to longevity and projection. Just a couple sprays will last you all day. Anymore and it is pretty overwhelming.

The bottle and the juice is pretty unique. The neon purple liquid is cool looking, but doesn’t really match the smell you get. The atomizer is actually great.

If you are into barbershop fougeres and/or Irish Spring soap, I’d say this is a must own. Especially since you can grab this one for under $20.
