Pink Sugar Heart Attack
As warm as a sunset. It hums on the edges of the skin, tingles ever so slightly. Aether that whips about in a summer storm then subsides, growing patiently. There is amber and there is bronze, then gold. It has a pervading sweetness to it, similar to melted raw sugar in mid-caramelization. An embedded saltiness gives it an atmospheric edge to fuel its embers.
Overall, still under consideration whether I enjoy this fragrance or not. I do not recognize this scent to read much as “ethereal”, as it lacks an air of mystery and a bit juvenile in its purity. It’s a nicely blended single note, but it’s still a slow-burn with not much development or intrigue. However, I suppose it could be considered otherworldly; this is exactly the scent I imagine a finishing attack of the Mahou Shoujo genre would be. The residual magic once the flashy beams of hearts and sparkly flourishes are cut away. It pierces the veil.
