Endless - no! Summer - absolutely yes

I know exactly why you are here: you are into the VIW by Creed or the Malibu - party in the bay and are looking for an affordable alternative. That was at least the case for me when I stumbled upon this fragrance. Therefore, I want to make a small comparison between the scents to help you decide whether you should order it or not. I love the VIW by Creed, but it is a bit too expensive for me with its rather mediocre performance, even though it smells so good. Consequently, I ordered the fragrance on Amazon and thought I would give it a sniff and describe the scent here as I perceive it.

The Endless Summer starts with a strong combination of lime and ginger, in my opinion. The coconut keeps a low profile at first, and the whole thing feels quite citrusy and refreshing. With the VIW, the coconut comes through much better and creamier, in my view. However, I don't find either bad; both fit very well for summer.

In the drydown, the coconut gradually emerges in the Endless Summer as well, without the, let's call it "soapy" or "clean" component that the VIW develops. The coconut feels a bit more robust than in the VIW and not quite as creamy, but still very pleasant. It has been said that it comes across as woodier - that could be true! With a creamy hint of coconut-sweet cane sugar, the Endless Summer slowly bids farewell.

The two fragrances, side by side, are certainly not identical, but in my opinion, they are quite comparable! Even though the Endless Summer costs only a fraction of the VIW, it does not really fall short for my nose. I would like to write something like: "Sure, it's cheaper, but for the price, you can't go wrong," but that's not how I perceive the Endless Summer. With the exception of the lime-ginger overflow in the first few seconds/minutes, it is indeed on par with the VIW (feel free to stone me for this, but I am completely serious), and in terms of longevity, it is even stronger than the VIW, at least on my skin (though it doesn't last longer than 6 hours, just to be clear). Both the lime and the coconut are very well perceived, I was told, sometimes longer than my nose picked up the scent. The sprayer is not the best. But at that price, it really isn't that important.

Conclusion: Those who love the VIW as much as I do will not be disappointed, I promise. I ordered the fragrance blindly and have not regretted it. Well, one should like the DNA of the VIW, but then you certainly won't be disappointed by the Endless Summer. For me, it's a price-performance killer that I am happy to have in my cabinet. :)
