WARNING about this chemical lab accident! An absolute imposition.
Synthetic nightmare in a toilet cleaner bottle - hands off!
I sit here rubbing my eyes in disbelief (and my burning nose). Tell me, dear Parfumo community, did you all conspire here or - no offense - has collective scent loss broken out? The almost universally positive reviews here are absolutely incomprehensible to me. And I won't accept the killer argument: "Everyone perceives the scent differently and has different preferences."
No, this one simply smells cheap, really cheap... there can be no two opinions about it.
"Endless Summer"? More like "Endless Headache". What is marketed here as a summery lifestyle scent is, in truth, a brutally biting, highly synthetic chemical club that smells exactly like the cheapest citrus toilet cleaner from the discount store. After the first spray, I actually just wanted to reflexively wash my nose with soap.
This concoction is seriously supposed to reflect the DNA of "Malibu Party at the Bay" or "Virgin Island Water"? Seriously!? If those are the big, expensive niche role models, then I thank the perfume god that I saved myself from this hype. If luxury now smells like a train station toilet, I鈥檇 rather stick with Maison Alhambra "Jean Lowe Vibe". This one, despite similar production and distribution structures, is very pleasant to wear because it doesn鈥檛 hit you like a brick wall and distributes the synthetic notes in a somewhat balanced way.
This olfactory disaster of "Endless Summer" was only crowned by the inferior quality of the packaging: The bottle arrived defective right away (probably not an isolated case according to the reviews in the shop). In this case, it was probably karma and an absolute blessing - at least I had the perfect reason to send this muck back immediately.
Conclusion: A piercing cheap cleaner smell, packaged in junk quality. No purchase recommendation, not even as a gift!
I'm also more on the Klostein side with Perez and I absolutely can't understand how this scent could get more than one star. Febreze smells better than Perez Never Endless Summer. I can totally agree with your review and thank you for that, I'm not alone here ;)
I have this one and the Malibu as well. I don't think the Perez is bad, but it takes a moment to become pleasant. Maybe the quality isn't consistently the same here!?
I suspected a bad batch too, but a few - even if they're few - statements and reviews go in the same direction. Well, everyone has their own taste... apparently!
You can't say that your review lacks clarity. You clearly describe that you detest what you had to smell here. Straightforward words - thank you for that.
