Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, or: Geza Schön & Geza Fies?! ;-)
And here it comes: my first comment as the first one! :-) And yes, I fell for it, although it’s not really a failure, but more on that later. A perfume from an exclusive online erotic store, created by Germany's perfumer No. 1 (that's right, isn't it)!? That certainly makes one curious, just like the supposedly aphrodisiac effect, which I, as a connoisseur of the marketing industry, of course (!) consider to be just a marketing promise! :-) Anyway, ordered, delivered, tried! Testing a fragrance with Iso-E-Super for the first time (what can this stuff do, if it can do anything?). Price: midrange, bottle: uninspired, but whatever. Everything is fine so far! OH YES! :-)
The opening: pure ginger and lime, maybe a bit of pepper, not groundbreaking, but pleasant and very long-lasting. A little sharp, but not scratchy in the nose. For me as a "newbie," very wearable. The top note (if it even is one) still dominates the olfactory experience after half an hour. Definitely has a cocktail vibe, Gin Gin Mule says hello!
The heart: Gradually, other notes join in, the juniper (also indispensable in gin) and something very slightly floral. But it takes quite a while, the ginger is still quite present after an hour. I've never experienced that before! I like it, but it still seems a bit one-dimensional. Then quite suddenly, it shifts into a sandalwood bed, which can be taken quite literally with Amorelie! ;-)
I am now no longer able to precisely pick out individual scent components. There are indeed extremely many of them in the ingredient list. But it becomes woody-herbaceous in my nose, caught by a subtle floral bouquet and a slightly powdery note. The initial freshness doesn’t completely evaporate, but it retreats in favor of the base. Either way, "Eau Yes" has changed its face quite a bit, but I somehow also like the rougher side of it.
I want to emphasize that modern sweetness is almost entirely avoided, which I find quite unusual given the Amorelie brand and its erotic intentions. Sure, a lot of actually sweet ingredients appear in the scent notes, but they play a subtle role in the background. Probably also the Iso-E-Super, well great! ;-) However, I slightly doubt whether I can score points with the female gender with this. Mr. Schön has certainly done justice to his name in my nose, even though I’m not directly in love with Eau Yes. By the end, the scent seems too divided and too ginger-heavy in the top note for me. Still, a very good rating! :-)

Well described! I don’t really notice the floral side, but I do like the top note. It definitely lacks a bit of substance in the dry down, but for the price, it’s really well made.
