Ciel starts out aqueous, viscerally creamy, musky and indistinctly floral. The smell is very rounded and enveloping. Minutes later it starts getting more flowery. After drying down, Ciel is a warm magnolia and white floral. The overall effect calls to mind the scent of an expensive and luxurious body cream or lotion. I can see how this could be someone's comfort scent or subtle work signature in a workplace that has explicitly banned perfume.
