Can't really say I've felt like a rockstar from the 70s wearing this one. I couldn't really smell, nor imagine the feeling of vinyl either.
However, it did kind of remind me of GTA Vice City? So yeah, a different era and more of a Miami vibe than New York.
@TheDunkPapa I couldn't really make sense of it either and didn't enjoy wearing it, so I was grasping at straws to make some kind of a connection.
That's the thing with evocative perfumery, sometimes the imagery is a bit confusing and I can't vibe with the scent. Alas, plenty of Chong bangers to choose from.
Can't say I'm getting any of that imagery either. Maybe it's just not clicking because I'm missing certain cultural nuance from way back when, I don't know. I think it's a confused scent profile that somehow manages to stand upright and don't be completely weird/unwearable, but not much else. I wonder what people would think of this one if they didn't know it was an Amouage and no notes were given.
