Outlands Amouage 2024

Besides the hype and 10/10 ratings, I would like to present a different opinion here.

First of all, yes, this scent smells good. It's made with very nice quality, nothing that bothers, all in all very rounded. But I really don't know where to wear this fragrance. So many notes come together to create a very beautiful overall picture, but there is no note that stands out particularly. Still, it is somehow also a special scent, but just somehow. And now to my problem with Outlands: I can't imagine where I should wear this fragrance. It doesn't fit any situation for me. Too playful for work, too cozy for special occasions. Too opulent for leisure, but it doesn't really fit for a gala either. Moreover, as mentioned, this scent is very rounded, there are no edges or corners, nothing that stands out. A warm mass that is nice, but doesn't really spark any interest. More of a high-quality designer with a touch of niche. I don't think I will use up my sample.
