Having appreciated Reasons and its green, balsamic references to the past, and having been a bit bogged down in the ambery sandalwood of Lustre, I'm about to try Outlands.
What can I say? The fragrance is pleasant, easy to wear and even my wife enjoys it (which is not trivial and didn't happen with Reasons, for example).
However—and I'm not one to be prejudiced about this kind of price/ml—it's reasonable to expect a little more flair than an incense vanilla in this range: well-made, certainly, you can sense that the materials and workmanship are on a different level (even compared to an Encens Suave, to stay with medium/high-quality incense vanillas), but I would have preferred a little more originality to stand out from the crowd when it's so high.
Beautiful, but not dazzling.
