What a Stunner!
…but unfortunately, this beautiful fragrance will not be joining my collection. But let’s take it step by step :)
I was drawn to Mada through a promotional campaign. The previous reviews, especially those comparing it to Ombre Nomade, got me extremely excited! Off to Breuni, tested it, and held the beautiful bottle in my hand. The first impressions were overwhelming! An olfactory explosion! One of the most beautiful and expressive scents with an Arabic flair. Even a day later, I was still enveloped in saffron, leather, vanilla, oud… a delightful mix from 1001 Nights!
So why isn’t it on my shelf? The raspberry. Very prominent in the top note. I had hoped, really hoped, that it would fade quickly, but unfortunately, that was not the case. It took several hours before I no longer perceived it. I’m just not a raspberry fan (except straight from the bush or in a smoothie). I would have accepted it in the first 30 minutes, but it was just too much and too long for me.
Otherwise, this is a beautiful fragrance with an incredibly high sillage. Definitely worth testing, maybe it’s just me with the pink berry :)
