The Scent of Japan?

I was quite surprised to read here that Annayké is the house brand of Douglas. I thought it was really a Japanese manufacturer. This impression was further reinforced after I tried Undo. Admittedly, I have never been to Japan, but I can imagine that it actually smells like this in that country. Undo is a fresh, quite gentle scent, somewhat herbal due to the green tea, lightly citrusy with a hint of seawater. Additionally, I can detect a note that reminds me of the spice "Lemongrass." Quite nice actually, but then at some point a note comes in that ruins the fun for me: I smell fish! Not the stench of rotten fish, more like fresh raw fish; a piece of sushi that has been dipped in a bit of soy sauce. Successful, if one wanted to create an olfactory representation of typical Japanese scents, but it doesn't suit my taste.

Conclusion:
I only tested the scent on paper; it might smell nicer on the skin. Still, I advise against Undo: For what it delivers, it is far too expensive and not really original. While I do like fresh scents, Undo is too boring for me, and the sushi scent significantly limits its wearability. If someone is looking for something similar, they would be better off with:

- Kenzo Pour (also exotic with a nice marine note)
- Emporio Armani Lui (also lightly herbal-fresh and clean)

These two scents are significantly better composed and also much cheaper. Anyone who doesn't test Undo hasn't missed out on anything special.
