How to appear sweet?? Maybe with meowing??
Hello you fragrance lovers and welcome to a new comment from me. This time I will describe the scent "Sweet Me". A peculiar name for a fragrance, I mean, what is it supposed to mean? "Sweet/cute me", "Make me sweet" or something like that??
If you want to come across as particularly cute, then ladies, you just have to dress super hot and tight and... oh wait. It was about appearing sweet and not somehow hot and rrrrr, well, my thoughts just wandered in completely different directions, as always, tsss... I know, I know, I'm terrible, but despite the rainy weather, it's still summer and I still see ladies dressed in short clothes everywhere, well, it's no wonder that I have to think about other things as a helpless single guy, argh! But maybe my comments will become more sophisticated when autumn and winter arrive (and yes damn it, I can write sophisticated!!! :DD).
But okay, appearing cute is certainly not hard, at least if you're a woman. As a guy, it's a bit different. I mean, I can't just stand somewhere and try to look cute, how does that even work? With meowing sounds? :D No no, then there would definitely be comments like "Dude,... did you get something stuck or why is your voice so high?!" or something like that,…!! Mu ha ha (oh god, just don't think about the "zipper over the balls scene" from There's Something About Mary!!!)
Thank goodness many guys don't even want to be seen as cute, phew :D But only as attractive, aaaargh, again something where I can't score that many points!!! :D The only women who are currently totally into me and want to suck me dry (heh heh, double entendre intended??) are… MOSQUITOES!!! (for your information: only female mosquitoes bite and suck blood). …
But a tomcat, who is male and also quite hairy (hey, he has a ton of hair on his back, did you know that!!!!) is ultra cute, right? I've always said it and I'll say it again: Women are crazy, he he :DD
But okay, let's stick to the topic. The scent "Sweet Me" then. To be honest, I don't expect much from this fragrance, and the opinions of others here don't seem to be full of positive statements either, but let's test it first…. At least the bottle does appear somewhat cute…
**The scent:**
The scent starts off quite sweet and also quite synthetic. The sweetness is a mix of various fruits and flowers. They must be very synthetic tuberoses, but I'm also reminded of the sweetness of jasmine. There’s neroli as well as soon-to-come, somewhat heavy flowers that might be the mentioned tuberoses. This heaviness only lasts a short while, then the scent becomes "normal" floral and much sweeter again.
The synthetics increase further along the way and make the fragrance seem cheaper and less loving, as this synthetic quality sometimes even overpowers all the other scent notes.
In the background, the scent occasionally comes across as slightly powdery, which is likely due to the vanilla. Otherwise, it remains floral and sweet (and also synthetic) and highly unspectacular until the end.
**The sillage and longevity:**
The sillage is quite okay, so the scent can be perceived normally alongside someone.
The longevity is about five to six hours, which is also still okay.
**The bottle:**
The bottle is shaped like a plastic bag that has been tied up, about as if you were transporting a small fish in it. That's original, and I think the shape looks quite nice and even cute. The colorful dots on the front also look quite nice, especially since they, together with the chili logo from Aquolina, even resemble a bit of a smiley. All in all, quite nice.
So… okay, the scent here is not particularly great. Sure, the sweet notes can come across nicely, but the fragrance is sometimes just too sweet, which in itself wouldn't be a problem, but this intense sweetness comes across as so artificial or synthetic that it just seems cheap.
Scent-wise, I would categorize it for autumn, as the sweetness is quite intense and could therefore be overwhelming on very hot days. Well, maybe it could still work in spring, if for some reason one wants to wear this.
Because Aquolina usually does sweet or sugary scents a bit better. Pink Sugar, for example, is also a synthetic sweet scent, but it comes across much nicer and simply smells better. Especially with the regular Pink Sugar EDT, you really can't go wrong and can appear really cute (and of course also very very VERY delicious) :D
Anyway, I can't recommend this for a test, save your arm for a nicer fragrance than to waste it on this one! So, better go test another scent!
That's it from me again, have a nice Sunday evening! And I... I'm sitting here with the tomcat on my lap and stroking his hairy back... :DD

The name means something like "sweet me," I would say, but we can forget about it right away because I’d rather not test it either... Sounds terribly cheesy and inedible.

I'm the only one who has this scent in my collection, and that's only because I received it as a gift. The bottle is quite nice, but you can't say the same about the fragrance....

I don't need the sweet stuff, but I do appreciate your comments... and please don't write them "more sophisticated"...;_)

Alright, we're crossing that scent off the test list. It was fun to read again. Thanks for the comment. :)

Thanks for the laugh about the short skirts! You really are a poor guy... It's great that you not only test amazing fragrances. I’d rather skip the sweet stuff. Have a nice evening!
