1974, Wall Street, just before 9 AM on a Tuesday: I’m frantically searching for a taxi, running extremely late. Ah, there it is. Moments later, I’m inside. As a broker, I have to give it my all to be faster than everyone else, to earn more and more money with stocks. Time and again, I catch a whiff of the perfume I sprayed on this morning. ARAMIS 900. It fits this job and this decade more than any others I know. The trading bell rings again, this time signaling the market's close. The day was okay, but there have definitely been better ones. Worn out from the day, I wash the sweat off my face and look in the mirror: brown suit, American cut, Oxford shoes, and my hair slicked back. Hmm, and what am I still smelling? I would compare the scent less to Wolf of Wall Street and Leonardo DiCaprio, but rather to something more serious like Wall Street and Charlie Sheen. Not a scent for parties or the beach. A classic chypre at its finest. The rose mixed with patchouli hits hard and direct. Lemon and the animalistic civet can be detected in the background. In the end, it fades with green notes.
