Strange, charred lump of vanilla
Company description: Creamy vanilla with Arcana's Holy Terror (burning frankincense, sandalwood, deep myrrh, and dusty beeswax candles).
As one might imagine from the description, this is Arcana Holy Terror mixed with vanilla. Unfortunately, the vanilla note used here is deeply unattractive. It is bready, sharp, and poisonously doughy, drowning out the smudgy golden beeswax and smoky woods of the original Holy Terror.
Later on, things even out into a more equitable marriage, a buttery vanilla coddling a discreet smattering of resin, woodsmoke, and candlewax. It does not match the quiet beauty of the original, but for vanilla lovers looking for a charred edge on a creamy vanilla, Vanilla Craves Terror is worth a look.
