Mushrif مشرف Ard Al Zaafaran / ارض الزعفران التجارية

Smells Distinguished
THIS IS NOT an Althair clone. It shares several notes with Althair, but smells nothing like it... AT ALL, so if you're hoping for something in that vein I'd go for the known clones, and Ard Al Zaafaran offers one in the form of Al Dirgham Special Edition (THE SILVER bottle NOT GOLD). I have no clue what it is cloning or if it is its own thing.
Reading the sparse reviews online I've seen Mushrif compared to PDM Kalan, and Lalique Encre Noir Sport, and Terre D'Hermes . I do get TDH vibes but checked it against my bottle and it is not a clone but lives in the same space. If you have TDH or one of its clones this might feel redundant, but again it is different. I see The Encre Noir comparisons since its kind of green, woody, smokey, and fresh, but theres no aquatics here....
It is a beautiful fragrance Orange, smokey, Earthy, floral, and woody outdoorsy scent. To my nose,Mushrif is not sweet at all. Its very masculine and outdoorsy smelling in a fresh way. Im not getting any of the paraline accord. My bottle is new (bought April 2025) and this might develop in the future. It's inexpensive making it a (kind of) safe blind-buy, but also, I see this one being a polarizing scent due to it being very unique.
This is a good scent for anytime of year. It feels mature, distinguished, and upscale. Wear it to the office, dinner party, and daily wear (basically anywhere you'd feel comfortable wearing Terre D'Hermes).
It might work for some, but in general, I wouldn't wear it on a date as it is not as inviting as a blue fragrance or alcoholic gourmands like Kahmrah, or Azzaro TMW etc... I dont think this is a compliment magnet at best you'll have people asking what you're wearing because it is different than all the sweet/blue/gourmand frags that are currently popular.
I give it a 7/10.
