It has a sweet vanilla note. I don't know how skunk is "supposed" to smell, but I feel like I detect a slightly sour, "pissy" note at the start, compared to the grapefruit, which kind of extends the grapefruit and seamlessly transitions into the floral notes. It's also subtly noticeable when you hold your nose right up to it.
