Unknowingly, I entered the ancient, small antique shop of a quirky old man.
Immediately, a scent of ancient, greasy, leather-bound books wafted towards me.
Cold, damp hay lay on the somewhat dirty, earth-clod-covered floor.
Slowly, I rummaged through shelves filled with documents, sneaking through aisles adorned with antique decorative items and furniture that had long since seen better days. A musty, green, old yet familiar scent enveloped me.
A shadow appeared between vessels of essential oils and civet paste.
The shop owner, an older gentleman dressed in old garments, looked at me with delight.
After hours of browsing, I finally left the shop, but the scent lingered on me like a veil.
Pitch black, green-oily film.
Very pronounced civet, noble flowers, green, damp hay, and fine oud.
It is such a balanced, powerful composition that seems to almost halt time.
For me, a fragrance to close your eyes and enjoy.
Pleasant animalic notes, definitely wearable. The scent welcomes you with open arms, envelops you, and is reluctant to let go.
