Cloud Ariana Grande Body Mist

“Ariana Grande?” The puzzled look of a teenager met me as a blue-pink plastic bottle of Cloud Body Mist made its entrance. Why did I have the impression that she was glad the bottle wasn’t meant for her?

In my family, Ari doesn’t find her target audience. I can’t connect with her as an artist. She’s generally too sweet for me, from her fluttering eyelashes to her voice. My teenager isn’t into female pop stars. And my husband doesn’t even know who she is.

I’m not familiar with Cloud EdP. The packaging would have rather put me off. I guess I’m not the right target audience for Cloud either. And I wouldn’t wear it as a signature scent. But now and then, I do enjoy gourmands. In this case, the body mist, with its lighter concentration, has brought a gourmand into the warm season for me.

Cloud is a casual scent for me, for sports or in the evening. I find the fresh opening a bit synthetic, but it quickly turns chocolate-vanilla. I think a little about cotton candy - it is a cloud in a way. The scent remains close to the skin and softly sweet. I don’t perceive the musk at all. I find it pleasant.

The longevity is okay. With body mist, you spray more often, but I can still perceive it for a few hours. It’s not an olfactory masterpiece; it plays more in a league with decent deodorant for me.

“Yes, Ariana Grande… why not?” I toss my ponytail over my shoulder with flair, look at my teenager challengingly, and hope that the mascara still holds up after the workout.
