Club de Nuit Intense Man Armaf 2015 Eau de Toilette

An unusual alcoholic start for me, but the fruity blackcurrant was clearly detectable. A slightly chemical sweetness followed, then it became distinctly earthy, but also a bit potato-like.
Definitely one of the best dupes of Aventus, although not the best (Supremacy Not Only Intense). Somewhere the price has to make a difference. Due to the finer and more complex scent, I find the "Club" significantly better than the "L Aventure" dupe.
Before the drydown, both are about equal, but later the "Club" was even more intense, clearer, and stronger in the drydown.
At this price, you can't go wrong here.

Addendum 18.11.23: I bought the fragrance used and had to realize that I perceive it quite differently now. Perhaps the first scent sample wasn't quite right. There was no trace of the alcoholic beginning; instead, after 10 minutes, I got smoky, dry blackcurrant. Citrus is always present, and later I also thought of some pineapple. The potato-like or earthy notes are not as strong here, which could be related to the "smoke"; a similar note recently caught my attention in Rammstein's "Benzin." I finally upgraded my rating to 8.
