"Acqua" always sounds good on hot days!
Today I present to you Art 01 from Art Landi Profumi. I am not familiar with this brand and have never heard anything about it. Although "Landi" in the name of the fragrance sounds to me like "Lando," a character from Star Wars, but I won't go on about him, since you probably DON'T WANT TO KNOW!!!!
* sigh *
Anyway, I received a sample of this fragrance from a nice perfumer, and since it's summer and it’s often really scorching hot, a fragrance that has "Acqua" in its name should hopefully be a bit refreshing. Especially when it occasionally storms or rains, making the hot days feel so muggy!
According to the manufacturer, the fragrance is supposed to be particularly invigorating in its scent notes, especially due to the refreshing citrus notes. I certainly enjoy reading such things on hot days and can hardly wait to spray the fragrance on myself right away!
Later, I also smell herbal lemon verbena (since you can still smell lavender and basil). The fragrance remains pleasant but now seems quite dry. The slight sweetness could come from jasmine; I can't really detect an iris, even if the fragrance should be soft in the background.
In the base, the fragrance remains quite dry but still nice. I still smell a bit of lemons or lemon verbena; otherwise, it’s mostly herbal and herbaceous scents, like still lavender and light vetiver, along with some wood. Musk appears at the end, which makes the fragrance warmer and softly cleaner, but it is not very strong, and it doesn't necessarily make the fragrance sweeter. Oud seems to be completely absent.
The fragrance may be nice, but I still find it a bit unspectacular.
The longevity was also quite okay at just over six hours.
So, the fragrance is actually quite nice. Even if some might think that "nice" could also mean a bit boring, well, that can be seen either way. Because the fragrance smells good (just nice :D), but it is actually nothing really exciting, as you have really had such a fragrance very often under or in your nose, so it is not really worth the high purchase price, but that’s up to everyone to decide for themselves. There are also expensive Creeds (like Aventus... he he he :D) and Amouages that, strictly speaking, smell good but also a bit like 0815 fragrances. And you Aventus fanatics... stay where you are before you grab your pitchforks. Not everyone worships this fragrance as intensely as you freaks! :DD
Anyway, the fragrance fits well in summer, although it is not really meant to refresh, but can simply be worn on warm days when you want to perfume yourself even on hot days without bothering others too much with the scent.
No, no, this fragrance wasn't really my thing; today I was on a scent tour with a nice perfumer (who finally, FINALLY wore a skirt, mu ha ha ha :DD), and I discovered better summer fragrances for myself, like Note de Yuzu by Heeley, but that's another story, so the comment on that will come in a few days! :D
* sigh *... Lando,... are you sure you don't want to hear anything about this Star Wars character? I mean, now that the new movie is out and you can see the character in his younger years and all? ... * sigh * ... well then, not. Next time, I'll talk even more about Star Wars, mu ha ha ha, that's what you get for this :D
* sigh *

The fragrance:
Hmm... I smell lemons, which smell authentic and natural and actually fresh. The lavender adds a slightly herbaceous scent. The lemons combined with the herbaceous notes and other herbal notes like basil now smell a bit like lemon verbena, which is of course nice and fresh as well. Later, I also smell herbal lemon verbena (since you can still smell lavender and basil). The fragrance remains pleasant but now seems quite dry. The slight sweetness could come from jasmine; I can't really detect an iris, even if the fragrance should be soft in the background.

The sillage and longevity:
The projection of the fragrance is quite okay for a summer scent. Especially the lavenders enhance the fragrance, so it won't necessarily be perceived only from close range. The longevity was also quite okay at just over six hours.
The bottle:
The bottle is black and rectangular, with sharply angled edges that make it look somewhat octagonal. There is no label on the front, and I can't see the name of the fragrance from the front; instead, the brand name is displayed in beautiful golden lettering. The cap has a patterned grip and is cylindrical. A nice bottle, but I don't know much more about it. The image shown here on Parfumo is one of the sample bottles (or sample bags) that you can see on the homepage, ... at least I think so :DSo, the fragrance is actually quite nice.
