A Harmless Little Scent
Like A Virgin starts opulently rosy, but also simultaneously slightly creamy - floral.
Our dear perfumer "Elbchen" sent me her sample, giving me the opportunity to test this fragrance, for which I would like to express my sincere thanks.
At first, one can sniff a very opulent peony, which gives the scent something deep, but also something very enlightening.
There is also a slight creamy - floral nuance to be detected, which comes from the jasmine.
Unfortunately, in my opinion, the jasmine does not create a pleasant symbiosis with the peony; rather, it feels as if both components are perceived separately.
However, as the scent develops, the situation changes a bit, and the two components do connect, allowing one to actually appreciate the fragrance.
In the background, one can perceive a slight powdery hint, thanks to the iris, which adds flattering attributes to the composition.
The musk serves here as a "foundation" and imparts a certain cleanliness and a subtle woody aura to the scent.
Thus, Like A Virgin is truly a harmless little scent.
Overall, the fragrance can be detected on my skin for 9.5 hours.
The sillage is designed from the beginning to be perceived quite well at about half an arm's length, and this is maintained for 3 hours before it gradually diminishes, until the scent finally fades completely.
