Once again a cashmere bowl…

The test with the fragrance No 2 from the Berduft series blue gentian turned out to be nothing more than satisfactory, so I am all the more curious about the Edelweiss. The velvety, furry surface of this flower, in my opinion, fits a soft, powdery scent, and that is exactly what it presents to me. Again, I test on paper and skin, and this time these two perceptions do not diverge as much. I can smell the essential oils, which at the beginning have nothing sharp about them but instead appear velvety and harmonious. The scent has something fluffy, and comes across as cuddly as a silver cashmere bowl. I can make the connection to the mountain world through the velvetiness of the fragrance, which matches the furry surface of the Edelweiss. Vanilla makes the whole thing warm and even more enveloping, a fine scent that I wouldn't explicitly assign to any season. It slightly reminds me of Swan by Farfalla, but I can only judge that from memory and might be mistaken. I would definitely like to wear Edelweiss; it is an unobtrusive and lovable companion throughout the day. However, it is questionable whether it lasts an entire day; sprayed on 20 minutes ago, it is already fading and is only perceptible up close. Yet, as a relatively short pleasure, it is a beautiful fragrance experience that I would like to repeat. It's good that there are 10ml bottles for testing!
