With Rayon Vert, I tested my last "fragrance" from the brand Artemisia.
I make no secret of the fact that this brand has not managed to convince me of natural perfumery; on the contrary! This scent experience makes me sing the praises of chemistry.
The other samples also gave me the impression that I was either applying an ointment, a rancid cream, or, as in the case of Rayon Vert, a moldy throat lozenge.
In the first quarter of an hour, the sprayed area smells like a mixture of licorice, anise, and a bit of stale menthol, before it retreats into a strange ointment scent on the skin. After about 40 minutes, the spell is over.
Well, regarding longevity, I have come to understand that most natural scents often do not reach the level of semi- and fully synthetic creations, but brands like Aftelier or Florascent have proven that it is possible to create wearable fragrances in this category.
After all that organic stuff, I now feel an uncontrollable desire for one of my synthetic fragrances from the house of CdG.
