Four-Leaf Clover

Summer holidays. In the tender age of boyhood. I can still see myself, along with the other neighborhood children, frolicking on the large meadow, bordered on one side by the surrounding houses and stretching towards the horizon of cornfields and fields. One didn’t need much to be happy, perhaps a bicycle, a wooden sword, the rest was adventure. The meadow provided plenty of space for projection, and there were no limits to our imagination. Endless days, interrupted only by hasty meals when the mothers insisted that we didn’t completely forget about eating while playing.

Sometimes, when time needed to be bridged or everyone sank exhausted into the green after hours of uninterrupted frolicking, I remember that we searched for four-leaf clovers. It was rare for the tense silence to be broken by a joyful shout, and everyone would lean in curiously over the rare specimen that the lucky finder proudly held up for all to see.

There was always a very distinct smell surrounding us during this activity, the scent of freshly plucked grass, and Trèfle Pur wonderfully captures this fragrant cosmos. This is complemented by fresh, citrusy notes and a very light hint of basil.

Trèfle Pur is a very clear and refined fragrance and stands out distinctly for me from the entire uniform armada of sporty versions of popular perfumes. It also lacks the quirky herbal undertones found in many green scents, for which I am very grateful.

Typical of Atelier Cologne, Trèfle Pur also boasts exemplary longevity. It offers many hours of carefree pleasure and is, for me, the perfect example of an elegant casual fragrance on hot days.

So beautiful! I got completely "lost" in the introduction again.

I find the phrase "**quirky herbal hints**" delightful, and what's very important for me is that they're missing. Thanks to your wonderfully evocative description, this scent is now on my radar.

We just had a conversation about how children today rarely have experiences like that. The scent of a fresh meadow, where you lie down, is fading from many people's memories. Beautiful comment.
