Floral Endymion

Today I tested this relatively new men's fragrance from Atelier Flou. I find it difficult to distinguish individual scent notes. However, I believe I can detect a slight chypre accent and rosemary. The chypre seems to be more present in the top notes, while the rosemary appears more as a heart note. The base is hardly perceptible to me, except that the scent becomes a bit softer and warmer. The best description I can provide is that it smells to me like a slightly fresh, floral, and subtly warm Endymion (Penhaligons), even though, apart from nutmeg and vetiver, these two fragrances obviously have nothing in common. Anyone who knows Endymion will surely understand what I mean. For everyone else, I recommend a personal test if interested.
I cannot recognize or interpret the mysterious mystique that the fragrance is supposedly supposed to convey. I would rather attribute this characteristic to Endymion.
The longevity of the fragrance is, in my opinion, not satisfactory for an Eau de Parfum. After about a good hour, the scent is hardly perceptible to me. Endymion is classified as "only" an Eau de Cologne but lasts significantly longer.
At least one must give Black Purple credit for smelling relatively natural. In my view, it is also very wearable for women. The price, especially in terms of intensity and longevity, at 115.-- Euro / 100 ml, is quite steep. However, anyone who prefers a very subtle, floral, and soft perfume might certainly enjoy this scent.
