Soft Wellness Tea Jasmine - Fragrance with an Amber-Fruity-Woody Finish

The beloved Monsieur turns out to be a scent that I somehow associate with wellness and sauna landscapes.

In the opening, it emphasizes jasmine, truly unusual in a citrus sense. Fresh, yet sweet-floral, reminiscent of Chinese tea. Quite wellness-like because of that.

I find myself somewhat at odds with Jpg153's description - both regarding the smoke and the seasons.

The incense is extremely in the background, at most present as a footnote.
Much more in the foreground is the slightly sweet-resinous, always slightly rubbery guaiac wood, accompanied by subtle cedar wood aspects.

The scent comes across slightly soapy, slightly sauna-oily, only in the base do softly ambered, somewhat darker, yet at best fresh-earthy patchouli nuances emerge. I don't find the evolution after the opening particularly stunning; the scent remains very close to the body and doesn't change much after half an hour.

Good in spring and autumn, also not a bad choice in summer.

Very accurate description. My nose isn't sensitive enough for the "smoke" either - I can't perceive it.

The comparison of the sauna landscapes is good.

Menno Fabian! Are you one of those sauna enthusiasts who always use sauna infusion concentrates until it’s dripping out of the stove? That’s probably why you’re into the sauna infusion. Water is enough! Essential oils aren’t really that great for it.

Yeah, it's not prominent enough in winter. The smokiness also really depends on the temperature. Sometimes it's strong, sometimes it's faint. I would describe it differently today :-)) Still good, but I wouldn't repurchase it.
