Moody Spiced Vanilla

How I wanted to love Lune Féline!
For months I dreamed of it before I finally bought a sample from the manufacturer. The notes seemed just right for me: cardamom, resinous-woody notes, and vanilla - dreamy!
On the paper strip, I was still excited - a beautifully spicy opening with cardamom and cinnamon, which linger for quite a while. A warm, resinous background that still feels airy and fresh, and a wonderfully subtly sweet vanilla.
Unfortunately, it does not get along with my skin at all. The spicy notes vanish immediately, and what remains resembles burnt, resinous conifer wood. As if I were sniffing at a spot that has already been charred and is shining black from the fire.
What do we learn from this? Definitely test on the skin
I will spray the rest of my sample on my clothes and briefly mourn my dream of this scent.

Oh no, that's really too bad, this scent is so special and beautiful 🫶. I didn't like it at first at all, but now I love it. But if it doesn't work for you, I'm sure there are scents out there that you'll like even more and that will suit you better 🌷

Fortunately, I had the opportunity to test this best and most wonderful vanilla scent from an exclusive travel package with travel vials directly from Atelier des Ors. It doesn't get more original than this. With scent strips, I only make wrong judgments; the pyramids either match or don't match the scent. Unfortunately, it's too expensive for me. I only buy such an expensive fragrance after trying fresh original samples-if at all. In that sense, your review is helpful.

You're so right, most of the scent strips don't really capture the fragrance accurately, and the pyramids are just a loose guideline anyway 🤭
For such an expensive perfume, it's really best to get a good impression through manufacturer samples, etc. 👌
