Some claim to have detected cumin along with armpit sweat, but no, the test subjects either got the wrong perfume or something went wrong with the test bottle. However, there is indeed a slight cumin note present, which does not disturb but is harmoniously embedded in the very gentle spiciness.
All in all, the discerning connoisseur receives a very successful green tea composition reminiscent of the former “Eau Parfumée au Thé Vert” by Bvlgari, which has recently been re-released. I never understood why Bvlgari discontinued it…?!
In recent years, other perfume manufacturers have also attempted this type of creation, including Elizabeth Arden and Yves Rocher, but the longevity and sillage of these products - although successful - left much to be desired. The enjoyment usually faded within half an hour, which, despite the affordable products, was still quite a money-grab, as they could have just sold a water-alcohol mixture with even fewer fragrance ingredients…
Here, however, you get a gently spicy unisex creation that lasts a few hours and exudes a distinct, clean creaminess. One can expect that from an Arabic perfume house; they don’t skimp on quality…
The fragrance is minimally soapy, not very sweet, and quite fresh. The citrus notes paired with a hint of floral (jasmine) come through beautifully and persistently, likely balanced with some oak moss and vetiver. The spiciness is also supported by a very gentle woodiness that doesn’t get on my nerves. This makes the scent rather bitter, dry, and slightly powdery. All genders can wear this fragrance, and those who apply it come across as elegant and well-groomed, without needing to reapply perfume every half hour, as Capella has a very pleasant longevity.
Of course, the scent is not a true novelty on the market and is not super cheap, but is positioned in the mid-price segment, yet I like it exceptionally well.
Conclusion: Successful green tea composition with good longevity.
I can agree with that 100%. No way, Ganymede or cumin sweat??? Oh man. Where does that impression even come from? It's a beautiful scent. Tried it today and fell in love immediately. Another great one from Attar Collection.
Exactly! I'm also quite taken with the creations from Attar Collection. Most of them smell really interesting and not all are typically "oriental." Very surprising.
