Sierra is a wonderful scent for everyday wear. It particularly shines on slightly warmer days. I really like the top note here.
After that, unfortunately, it becomes a bit trivial for me, but that doesn't mean it smells bad!
You have a beautifully fresh scent profile in the opening. A zesty ginger combines with a hint of pepper and what feels like floral undertones. I also think I can detect a very slight green nuance.
Of course, it comes across as noticeably synthetic. The pyramid already suggests that.
However, synthetic notes can also come across really well, as is the case here. Often, people hear "synthetic" and have a completely wrong impression of it, even though most fragrances are synthetic.
Over time, the zestiness of the ginger noticeably diminishes.
However, the fresh elements from the ginger remain for me.
Just like the floral and slightly green undertones. Towards the end, you then pleasantly sense woody notes, as well as the listed frankincense. I probably wouldn’t have come to frankincense directly. I knew there was something else, but the connection only became clear to me when I read it. However, I can't seem to detect the tonka bean at all.
The longevity on my skin is around seven hours, and the sillage is perfectly fine/moderate.
Sierra is also a fragrance that is wonderfully unisex to wear.
