Anecdote Aubade 2014

Since I liked the black Aubade Le Parfum right away, I hurried today to also get the white Anecdote.

I am actually a fan of whimsical anecdotes, which I enjoy writing and also love to hear.

But at the moment, my mood is rather gloomy because I have a loss to process.

Perhaps the scent will awaken one or two anecdotes within me?

In fact, the bright fragrance with bergamot awakens my senses.
Delicate pink magnolia joins in, hand in hand with white jasmine, overshadowed by noble white roses.

My thoughts revolve around the person I miss, but in a pleasantly bright light.

Cheerful moments come to mind that make me smile.
My missing friend had a great sense of humor.

Unforgettable is the scene when I bluntly expressed that I would have liked to marry him - with his mischievous reply that doctor’s wives are the only widows of living men.
We both had a hearty laugh about that, as it is indeed true.
No, I am utterly unsuitable for such "long-distance relationships."

Exactly this charming lightness is what Anecdote conveys.

It radiates humorous calmness - and positive, comforting feelings with equally pleasant memories.
